Without preservatives, these products would be at risk of contamination, which could lead to serious health consequences. In order to ensure that a product is adequately protected from microbial growth, manufacturers must conduct preservative efficacy testing. This module will take you through the basics of what Preservatives are, why they are used and how to make sure that the right amount is used. It also covers how to analyse the results of a Preservative Efficacy Test.
